We haven't been formally introduced, you and I. You may have caught a glimpse of me here on Tracey's blog occasionally. Today I'm here to make myself known to you - pleased to meet you, I'm The Hewitt Home. (Garfield the cat IS a piece of furniture...just in case you were wondering!)
Now Trace loves me, that's for sure...but, as in many relationships, I have some unmet needs. While she takes pretty good care of me, Trace is not so good at keeping my windows clean; the ironing basket in the corner of my laundry sometimes gets frighteningly out of control - and you should see how many weeds are in the garden beds sometimes! We recently had a long discussion about this situation, Trace and I; and I discovered that she feels pretty bad about her shortcomings in these areas, but at the same time, she does love her studio (and you and I both know she gets up to some fun stuff in there!). It's not looking too promising for my windows and blinds to gleam any-time soon. BUT....Trace loves that studio and her teaching so much, she reckons she'd love to offer people one on one studio teaching time in exchange for them spending the same amount of time making my windows sparkle or emptying that ironing basket or pulling those pesky weeds.
If you know Trace, you'll know she's pretty easy going, so she doesn't mind if someone wants to come for just one weekend, or once a week....so if the idea of creating something in her studio, with her to guide you with technique, sounds appealing to you - make her an offer! (you can email her: charvel [at] bluemaxx [dot] com [dot] au). I look forward to meeting some of you very soon!
(PS I'm sending a special Thank You to Mick Cornish of Campfire Coaching for helping plant this idea in Trace's mind....I owe you Mick!)

And Sal...I have been busy - New Year and a New Look! We do seem to be a bit overdue for a visit...will have to remedy that soon, I hope!
Just checking your blog ( haven't been here for a while) Funny how things happen. We have a camper on the back of our ute, supposedly so we can go away on weekends, Hmmmmm anyway just the other day I had thought I wonder if Tracey would mind visitors? I'd see where you live. Would get my hubby away for a break, he can just sleep, or help for the farm, He's an old farmer from way back. And you and I could do some creating. I've not long done my windows so I think I can remember how to do them. hahaha Anyways your home looks lovely and inviting. Looks neater than mine at some times. Chat soon!
Hey Gail!! That sounds great!...When are you coming?!
