Beauty and Inspiration

This peaceful scene is the view across my front lawn as the day slips away...I don't always remember to stop and enjoy it, but never regret the time spent when I do.

I finished the Connections challenge piece today, having stitched bunches of tiny gold beads on it. I needed to write an artists statement to accompany it on it's journey. This is what I came up with:
"The theme 'Connections' made me think immediately of the people I have connections to - and, of course, the most treasured are the ones who are connected to my heart. Thus 'HeartFelt Connections'. Whether our paths intersect often or seldom, the time spent in connection adds sparkle and shimmer to the landscape of my days"
