This little one is a glasses case, made with hand dyed silk hanky stitched over a velvet base...
And a detail of another journal cover..."Dusk". The men in my life find it fascinating that there can be a use for those old grinder discs littering the workshop floor after they have rendered them useless for their original purpose...but some paint, wax, embossing powder, wire and beads deliver them a new lease of life!
