Bye Bye Babies...

It's time to say goodbye...Minnie's babies are all heading out into the world, to discover their new families and homes. This photo does me in...how cute are they? So soft and snuggly and small and delightful and bright and fun...

Awww...
"No, it wasn't us who chewed your favourite shoes and demolished your new plant; and we would never leave unmentionable deposits beside your back door"...

Trust me when I tell you that as cute as they are, as adorable and fluffy and sweet as they look - I'm not going to be heartbroken when the last one leaves on it's journey to a new home in a couple of days. Puppies can be a joy - but man, they can be a force of destruction unlike any other (except maybe three year old boys - but those days are in my past, and that's where I'm content to leave them!)

They are cute though, don't you reckon?

OH...what could be more darling than a passle of puppies.
There are fabulous.

I love looking back at the June 20 link when Mimi looks like she's not quite sure if she's up for this...

May they all have wonderful dog lives and be happy and healthy with their hopefully 'forever homes'.

Your job is done!

Iona...You're so right! She really did look doubtful about whether she'd manage the whole parenting deal didn't she? But, she was a pretty wonderful little mother - as evidenced by her gorgeous brood.

I have to ditto Iona's comment--what could be cuter than a passle of pups? They make me want to reach through the ether and pick one up.
But/and I can also imagine your mixture of relief and sadness when they leave their original hearth and home. You are a wonderful Puppy mom!

Thanks Hannah...the last baby "Tamworth" (thus called, because that's the town she was heading to - far, far away...) left yesterday...I may now be able to reclaim my back garden! It is just a little quiet walking outside now, though! No little ones trying to climb up my leg for a hug!

Hi Tracey, Thank you for our little miss of destruction, she sure does like putting everything in her mouth... Brandy has settled really well into our family. She has won all our hearts and knows just how to get her own way, like sleeping beside my bed so she feels safe:) The girls just love her to pieces and my 3yr old Zoie keeps reminding me that we are not giving her back lol!
Thank you again, I will send you some photo's along the way.

Tanya - you are welcome!! We all had a smile about her sleeping beside your bed...they are so hard to be tough on, aren't they? Hope you all have lots of happy times together!
